Remember these?
I had something a bit different in mind.
I wanted a necklace that’s long, preferably 30 inches, gold, and one that’s able to add multiple charms.
Then I discovered Altruette, a jewelry company that makes charms for charities. Half of the net profits from the sale of their charms goes to charitable partners, including Toys for Tots, the Special Olympics and the National Park Foundation.

Yes! I totally remember those. And I like the new take on them as well. Plus, you’d probably get less sideways glances if you rocked the latter these days.
No doubt! I am going to layer the longer necklace with a gold locket that has an 18″ chain and probably some old Helen Ficalora necklaces. I call my daughter “Bumblebee” frequently and have my eye on the bee as charm #1.
