Yesterday I posted about gifts that could be used – and used up, thereby reducing the endless pile of stuff that accumulates after the holidays.
Today, here are two gifts that are technically stuff, but each is unique in giving something in return.
- Forever Candle by Prosperity Candle. From their website:
Every candle purchased helps provide a living wage for the women of Prosperity Candle, who have recently resettled from refugee camps and are working to build a brighter future for themselves and their families in the United States.
Here’s the concept: buy a Forever Candle for $65 and get a lifetime of free refills (although you do have to pay $12 shipping). Choose from five scents. I’d start with Lavender and Citron.
- Bombas socks. These are really nice quality socks (I have several), and for every pair purchased, a pair is donated to someone in need. Choose from ankle or calf length in a variety of colors for women, men or kids. I love the bumblebee motif.
