Party Shoes

Let me be upfront about this: I don’t have anywhere to wear any of these shoes.

And even if I did, once I arrived I can guarantee there would be a 99% chance that I would be required to remove my fancy shoes and leave them in a damp pile near the front door.

But that doesn’t stop a girl from dreaming.

Here are some lust-worthy holiday party shoes.

First up, Sam Edelman beaded pumps and flats, both from Nordstrom:

Ivanka Trump bow flats:

Glittery Kate Spade heels:

British brand L.K. Bennett:

Kareena Suede Block Heel Court

And my ultimate dream, these rainbow (!!!) Valentino 1973 Rockstud heels:

These just scream Fabulous New Year’s Eve Party in Palm Springs. I wish!

Think Pink

Apparently the color pink is trending this year for spring fashion.

But when isn’t pink in for spring? If my Easter bag(s) of M&Ms are correct, then pink is always a hit as winter slowly abates.

Last fall I posted about how I love pink shoes, but my tiny stash is nothing compared to these outrageous gems from Neiman Marcus, which are really works of art but utterly impractical for commoners:

All of these are by Italian designer Rene Caovilla, and the prices are as outlandish as the styles. The tall middle pair retails for almost $2800. Yikes.

From a style standpoint, these seem like better options for me:

Valentino Rockstud Flats

Kate Spade Poise Pumps

Gucci Loafers

These pink bags are also killing me:

Kate Spade Little Minka Bag

Gucci Soho Patent Bag in Bougainvillea

Valentino Rockstud Small Cross Body Bag

Saint Laurent Small Sac du Jour in Fuchsia

The Kate Spade shoes and bag would be too cutesy to wear together, but I would love to independently rock them for spring.
